Philosophy of Character
The deadline for submission of letters of intent for this competition has now passed. We received 110 Letters of Intent for this competition.
A $300,000 RFP entitled "New Frontiers in the Philosophy of Character" has been issued for work in philosophy on character and issues related to the virtues and vices. Full proposal requests would range between $40,000 and $100,000 for projects not to exceed one year in duration. We anticipate making 5-6 awards.

Theology of Character
The deadline for submission of letters of intent for this competition has now passed. We received 59 Letters of Intent for this competition.
An $180,000 RFP entitled "New Frontiers in the Theology of Character" has been issued for work in theology or religious ethics on character and issues related to the virtues and vices. Full proposal requests would range between $40,000 and $100,000 for projects not to exceed one year in duration. We anticipate making 3-4 awards.

Psychology of Character
$2 million in awards have been made under the “New Frontiers in the Psychology of Character” RFP for work in psychology on the existence and nature of character and the relationship between character traits and beliefs, desires, identities, emotions, behavior, and situations.
